Located in Grass Valley on a portion of the historic Old Beyers Ranch, this Vineyard has roots in viticulture dating back to the Gold Rush Era. The 8.5 acre Vineyard has been lovingly replanted with 6 varietals currently being cultivated. At approximately 1500 ft. elevation, the Vineyard shares soil types and altitudes with the finest of Sierra Foothill Vineyards. The Vineyard was lovlingly replanted 10 years ago. It felt very satisfying & right to restore the property to its original roots & we are doing sustainable farming practices. That means primarily organic foliar sulphur, nutritional analysis and amendment via irrigation injection, if necessary. It is the cooler plot of land, at the base of Mount Vandeveer. The wines all have been very complex, delicious and interesting. Gravity Irrigation Water, Seasonal Creek and Pasture!
